After graduating college a semester early, I had the very fortunate opportunity to spend about half a year gallivanting around to all sorts of different places before I started working. This exploration included long-haul international travel to New Zealand, Japan, and Korea as well as a pretty sweet ~2 month stint snowboarding in Whistler, BC.

I was keeping a little journal of happenings via an Instagram account at this time (the original freerange_elliott!). However, as discussed in Why not social media?, I'm trying to avoid hyper-addictive, engagement-optimized platforms these days.

That being said, I still want to have a nice record of my pictures and notes, so I've transferred them to my website. A bonus of this approach is that they're easy to share with y'all now! This Instagram Archive folder contains content that I exported from my account (fyi for anyone who uses Instagram, you can export all sorts of personal data).
