Ngl y’all the ✨ influencer ✨ life is a major grind out here and I might not be able to keep up. I’ve built up a serious backlog of content to post here but in the meantime we’re out here with a post of out of chronological order portrait nature photography from Jan 16-20. Lots n lots of pretty views here.
First off in 1/8 and 2/8 we have some views from the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. This was an awesome hike that took us through some super unique volcanic landscapes. First pic is a blown out crater and hollowed out lava tube in the front, then Mt Ngauruhoe in the middle (was used as Mt Doom in lord of the rings), and then some 9000 ft snow capped peaks in the back.
3/8 is some beautiful blue glacier runoff river action that was in a super chill little loop hike (except for the extraordinarily aggressive little biting bugs that currently have my legs covered in bite marks 😭 😔 😢)
4/8 is a duck and clear water in the town of Picton where our ferry from North to South Islands dropped us off.
5-7/8 are all from sunset at the pancake rocks right outside the town? (consisting of like a motel and a bar) of punakaiki on the west coast of the South Island. It can be quite isolated and rural with long distances between towns/food/gas.
Finally 8/8 is a 🌲 outside Rotorua, like a redwood but lowkey I think not quite as fancy as the California ones (which I haven’t actually seen tbh)
