Flew to Colorado in December 2020 and made our way to 4 different ski areas. We started in Breckenridge, where we put 3 people in a glorified closet of a room.
Then, we made our way to Avon to ski Vail and Beaver Creek. We managed to catch a snowstorm one day a Vail and hit some great runs back in Blue Sky Basin.
Finally, we ended up at Keystone, where some logistical mishaps on my end meant that we couldn’t actually get into our Airbnb until hours after we arrived. This meant that we spent the day skiing while our bags with the rest of our clothes were just tucked behind a random building.
All in all, it was a super memorable trip - my first time out in Colorado with some awesome days of riding.

Coming in at ~850 calories, this hefty hunk of a sandwich combines some American grocery store classics. A donut shaped burger patty is nestled between the sliced halves of a chocolate-frosted, sprinkle-covered donut. Then, the core of the sandwich is topped off with a brownie bite and a sugar cookie, with all non-hamburger items coming from the prepackaged baked goods section of the local grocery store. Overall, putting together this monstrosity was more fun than actually eating it. Unfortunately, the overwhelming sweetness doesn’t pair particularly well with the burger patty, leading to a dissonant tasting experience. The brownie bite and sugar cookie don’t quite incorporate into the rest of the burger and end up as side dishes rather than part of the main affair. Overall, not an ideal way to eat each of the included components, but a major calorie shock to the system.
